Interesting tech

I'm sure we've all heard about illumiroom but has anyone ever heard of fortazela? Wonder what other tech we've lost.

They came up with some interesting things back then.

 

It was cool, but I've read in a few places that it was put on the back burner because it was supposedly expensive. That plus I'm sure they want to be careful with peripherals after the Kinect.

 

Are you talking about illumroom or fortazela.? Two different things but may have been compatible with each other.

 

Illumiroom. I've never heard of the other thing. Sorry.

 

Fortazela is some kind of headset or glasses or something.

 

I think Samsung may have been involved.

Do a search for microsoft fortaleza and see what comes up. Mostly old news but if any of it comes about it may give some kinectless One users a reason to shell out the cash for a Kinect. Either way its interesting reading. Combine that with Illumiroom and
I'll find it very difficult to unplug. Haha.

 

Seems like Fortaleza was indeed intended to work hand in hand with both Kinect and Illumiroom. The release was supposed to be 2014. Doubtful it will ever happen. Maybe will see something akin to this at the end of this generations life cycle.

 

Phillips Light (smart) bulbs are also a thing.... You know, ambient lighting is so helpful...
