    Interesting Hotspot Problem (can't connect to game servers)


    Hi!

    I can connect to my phone's wifi hotspot and connect to xbox live, but, when I try to play a game online, I get an error saying I can't connect. I can see who is online in my friends list and what they are doing, but I can't send messages or join parties.

    Does anybody know why this might be?

    A few months ago I was able to connect via mobile hotspot, and it worked great! I have sufficient sufficient, low latency and jitter, moderate NAT, and I can access the hotspot fine from other devices.

    Cannot connect to any game servers. (PLEASE HELP)

    I am having the same problem I can't connect to ghost servers or any servers and I can't even connect to my friends party's or nothing what going on help?

    Other forums are inconclusive except for suggesting:

    "Go to Settings > Network > Advanced > Alternative Mac Address > Clear."

    + A reboot ... worked for me. Thanks!

    This didn't work for me.

    I am also having this problem now. Previously it was working fine but now it "Can't connect to your DCHP server". I have tried everything on the troubleshooter (including restarting everything multiple times) and no joy.

    Weirdly I can get it to connect to my iPhone if I turn that into a hotspot.

    The NAT Type changed to moderate with UPnP not successful, I can now Join Servers and some sos, but I can't keep using said hotspot as it's not mine, does this mean that it's a problem with my network then?

    That error it's why you can't connect, the problem it's on the network and you will really need to reset it, or you can play using a mobile hotspot to connect the console
