interconnection in xbox one gears of war collection?

hi, i dont know if this post will be here, i read the main posts, and there are no information of what things can or cannot be here, well my trouble is the next, i try yo play with a friend with an interconnection wire, but we didnt can, i dont know if we
miss something or we need to try something more, or just this option is now useless, hope someone can tell me some information, thankyou!

Gears of war vs Gears of War Ultimate Edition

Is there any differences between Gears of War Xbox 360 version compared to Gears of War Ultimate Edition for the Xbox One? Because I just got my codes for gears of war, gears of war 2, gears of war 3, and gears of war judgement from microsoft for playing the gears of war ultimate edition and was wonder do I really need the 360 version of gears of war on my x1 since I done own the ultimate edition for the x1?

,well I donno if it's even possible with the xbox one

You would need an cross over cable which is different then your Ethernet cable which look the same but isn't you have for buy one from your computer shop

Thatis what is needed for the old xbox and 360

 

Or you could use a router and make sure you select a local connection
