Interactive Maps

The post about the train car on Seige got me thinking about the other maps that have interactive dynamics to them. I've seen several of them (closing doors on freight and overlord) but I don't know how to use them. Which maps have something? How do you activate
it?

What are you hoping for in the full version?

I expect more weapons, burn cards, more way to costume titans and pilots and usually more interactive maps.

 

We need more interactive/creative maps

"Rush Planting" is nothing to get your panties in a bundle about. If you're able to grab the bomb, arm it, and have it explode all while the enemy team
should be next to the site due to spawn, you deserve it.

 

I'm sure I'll forget some and there are some I probably dont know, but maybe if we all post what we know would help. I'm not sure how toi give the location, as I dont usually play with teams and have no call outs.



Warhawk: In the alley by the tank there is a door you can walk up to and hold x. You'll plant an explosive on it and blow the door. This lets you into the window display.

Stab the lock on the gate



Prison break: shoot the tree to make it fall

Use an explosive on the log pile



Octane: Breech the door on the trailer in the middle at the beginning of a match fopr a free care package





Freight. Severa;l doors have buttons on the wall to operate

From the stack of containers on the one corner you can shoot the lock on the second floor chained doors to open them

To access the tunnel..... form the one end stab the lock on the gate, go through and push the button on the wall at the top of steps to open door. I dont know how to open this fropm the other side but think it should be possible.





I'm sure there's more...... but I'm coming up blank right now.

 

lots n lots of them but most need explosive to trigger, and everyone is dropping items for more perks.

kinda show how much BF lost it ways, interactive dynamic maps are only cool in press films, once people start playing, their to busy killin to bother.........

 

Stonehaven - The gate in the castle.

 

How do you open the gate in Stonehaven? Blow it up?

 

I havent seen the gate opened once it was closed. But I have seen it blown up.

Blow open the two walls on top of the building with the open roof. (Use explosives)

Shoot the ladder on the three story building to make it drop down.

Tremor: you can push the dumpster back and forth for mobile cover. Doesn't do much, but it is interesting.

Siege: Press the button and the train car outside moves back and forth.

Overlord: You can close the main doors in the middle building by finding the seperate buttons on the wall....This one is game changing in certain game modes.

Stone Haven: Shoot the castle gate to close it.

Chasm: You can make the bus fall of the edge with explosives. Make the elevator either fall down for a make shift bridge or make it fall off the map. I believe you can shoot the elevator, but you might need explosives.

Flooded: jumping on top of the cars makes them sink (I'm sure most have figured that out)
Storm front: You can ride the elevator up and down by pressing the button.

 

I've had the game since release and didnt notice the cars ( bus?) sank until about a week ago my 5 year old showed me.



As far as I can tell, there is no way to open the door to the tunnel on freight from the outside. the gate can be opened from either, but at the beginning of the match the door is open and the only button is on the inside.



A little tip for playing blitz on freight. People are always shutting the doors to make it so there is only one entrance. I'll hit the switch quickly and keep running around to the opposite end while the enemy focuses on the doors openeing. Works particularly
well on the end with all the lumber.

This makes for a good distraction on any map/mode with interactive doors, but for some reason that one end on blitz/freight seems to fool them every time.

 

There is a button on the metal beam right outside the door...I'm not sure if that's the gate you are talking about.

 

The one blocked by the train car thingy and the door opens downward. I'll check again the next time I'm on, but I even went to a private match where I could take time to look and havent found a button on the outside, only one on the inside at the top
of the tunnel stairs.

 

An explosion will close the gate on Stonehaven and another explosion or shooting at it will make a hole in it.
