    Insurgency sandstorm: Xbox one x. Can’t play


    I try and launch sandstorm on my Xbox one x after downloading it for the first time 3 days ago, all is well and I played the game for about an hour my first day. Tried to play again yesterday and today and keep getting the same message... “for some reason insurgency: Sandstorm took too long to start. (0x8027025a)”. I can play every other game I have Downloaded and I have already deleted and downloaded this game 3 times now And reset my Xbox keeping my games... I have also cleaned my Xbox thinking it wasn’t processing fast enough because of dust but still no avail.. why will this game not start. I seen another user had this exact problem in 2021 and he fixed it by deleting and redownloading the game a bunch of times and it fixed randomly on his last try. I’m not willing to play a game of luck. I want to play the game I downloaded..

    If I may ask, do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause the issues as well, Braden.

    Hello Gustav, the Insurgency Sandstorm does not have a version for PC, in case you get to play it through Xcloud.
    well the xcloud version looks like and excuse my french ****. and the argument (insurgency Sandstorm does not have a version for PC) is weird becuse steam has a pc version of it?

    Ok, so prior to throwing in the towel and opting for the factory reset, I thought first to try holding the power button on the console for 20 seconds and see what happens...

    Happy to report that it seems to have gotten me this far!
