Insufficient Ventilation Problem

I have an Xbox One that keeps shutting down due to insufficient ventilation. I have it and the power supply out in the open and even have a fan pointed towards the system and supply, and it still continues to shut down. Is there something I can try or would
this be a system failure?

Hello! I've been experiencing wierd things going on with my 360 (s, 4gb, bought christmas 2011). After 5 minutes of play, an error message will suddenly pop up that states something along the lines of insufficient ventilation, the power button will flash
red, AND all 4 leds light up. 5-10 minutes later, again it occurs. What could I do to fix this?

 

Hi, do you hear the fan inside the Xbox spinning at all ? It may be the fan failed or just isn't spinning fast enough to keep things cool enough. If that is the case then you would need to send the Xbox in for repair.

 

I can hear the fan if i lay my ear on the system... and the one time i bumped it after it shut off, the fan was going like it would in a Desktop PC. that's the only time i really heard the fan.

 

Don't forget the power brick should sit on a hard surface and not a soft surface such as carpet.

 

the problem of my xbox 360 is if i open,its loading and then its suuddenly open the ventilation...

What seems to be the problem?

what should i do?
