    I played it normally 5 days ago. But now, without any apparent change, the console instantly turn off when launch a game, or when the video will start to play in netflix, youtube, upload studio, etc.

    Someone with the same problem?

    Any solution?

    Xbox instantly turning off

    My Xbox One has suddenly stopped turning on. The console button will turn on and it starts whirring, but after 5 seconds it all turns off. It was a weird time for it to stop, because I’d been using it fine and hour and a half beforehand. I’ve tried unplugging
    everything and leaving it for multiple hours, I’ve tried pressing eject and putting a disc in/taking it out, and even hoovered it to get rid of dust. Is there anything else I can do before I have to admit defeat and get it repaired?

    Nope, it was just a badly connected cord of the power supply.

    Hi,

    this is totally normal. If there are updates for your games or apps, or if you buy a game for example on your mobile, the Xbox is running in an energy-save mode, but is not off, even though the light is off and there is no video signal.

    The idea is, that when you start it again, all your favorite games and apps are up to date and running instantly.

    But you can turn this function off in the settings.
