Instant sign-in

I use instant sign-in to my xbox as I do not have permanent internet access. Since upgrading to the new experience interface it does not work. When I start the xbox with no internet access the main home screen says no one is signed in. Selecting to sign
in has no effect on my profile status. When I go to play a game the game prompts for a profile to be signed in but my profile is showing as already being signed in. So something is happening regarding instant sign-in. It looks like the only way I can play
a game is to have internet access so that my profile is properly signed in. If this is the case it renders my xbox practically useless given my limited internet access.

Anyone notice the sign in being slower since the update?

I use auto sign in when Xbox is turned on (not Kinect sees me login just instant sign in to my profile)and it sits there spinning for 5-10 seconds usually before it signs me in and it never did that before the update it was always instant.

Its not a big deal I dont care everything else works great just the sign in being slow.

Settings > sign in security pass key > Instant sign in

 

Hey mate,

Try removing your profile from the xbox, and then re-adding it that should fix the issue

Thanks.. Just tried that having read some other posts and it works. However internet access was required when reloading profile and launching each game for the first time after that. Oh for decent broadband!
