Instant on Problems

The Xbox One instant on feature is great. When my Xbox is started from the instant on mode it encounters problems when it has been sitting for many hours. Sometimes the home screen internet content doesn't load (persistent spinning loading circles). Other
times games and apps crash repeatedly or don't successfully open at all. The most prevalent bug is that the sign in doesn't work by Kinect or manually with a controller.

In the past I have done a factory reset. I have reinstalled all of my games at least three different times.

P.S. And while we're at it let's get auto sign-in, please.

Instant On Mode Problems

Having a lot of problems with my Xbox in instant on mode. First off I'm digital only. I have a 4TB external drive that I keep everything on. I have my Xbox set to shut off the drive when it's not on. When I turn the Xbox off (instant on mode) the drive just
constantly spins up , turns off, spins up turns off. This will go on for hours even when no game is being updated. Games that need updates do start updating but when I turn on the Xbox they always say installation stopped! And the worst is games at random that
don't need an update say they are updating when I return from instant on mode. These updates when I let them run their course take as long as downloading the entire game but at the end the game is corrupted and I have to uninstall/reinstall. I tried restoring
my Xbox to factory defaults but no change. At this point I don't use instant on mode any more and I don't have any problems that way but I would like to use it. Any help would be appreciated

 

I have a question about Xbox One Energy-Saving and Instant-On.

Instant on since day one. No problems.

 

I have the same problems, and others say the factory restarts don't fix it, so I'm not going to mess with that. I'm going to do the support chat tomorrow when I have time and see if that gets me anywhere.
