    Instant On issue


    So recieved my Series X 2 days ago and I was so excited to to play on it, so I started to downloead games on it and I changed the power mode to “Instant On”, so the games could be downloaded in a couple of hours. After a couple of hours I turned on my
    console to see the start up screen, which I found weird and the games didn’t download at all. So I found out that whenever I turn off my im expecting it to go to sleep mode but instead it fully shuts down despite it being on instant on. I’ve tried various
    methods to try and fix this problem but it still persists. So do I just send a repair request? This is the first time I have ever encountered a problem and I don’t know how what to do.

    Hi,

    I got a problem with my instant on feature.

    My instant-on + auto sign in isn't really working, because the Xbox automatically signs me out everytime I turn my Xbox on.

    What can I do about this. Is this because of my internet or something.

    Hi Fellow gamer,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. This could be related to the internet. If your console is not connected when it auto signs you in. Then you will be signed out. We recommend to reboot your network hardware. Also try what the ambassadors mentioned as they
    are great tips also. Here is a link for random

    Instant on issue.

    Try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account

    I would also suggest checking your sign in preferences to make sure that your tag is selected as auto sign in and that it's not linked to a different controller

    When xbox is in sleep mode it does use internet, because it can update itself and it can be updating or checking for updates for another apps.
