    instant on isssues Xbox one X


    I have an issue with the instant on function of my Xbox one X.

    The issue is that if left for say a day the console will drop out of standby and go to full power off. And cannot be turned on by controller in wireless mode.

    If left for a few hours it will come straight on but won’t always be connected to internet and will require a restart to have the internet to work again.

    Has anyone else had this issue? Everything else seems fine

    Wireless disconnected after instant on

    Xbox one x. After instant on, no network and have to reset console to get it back. Negates the usefulness of instant on

    Windows 10 Xbox App not turning on / finding my Xbox One X

    Even though Instant On is enabled on the Xbox One X and that the console is on the same network as my Alienware Windows 10 Laptop, the Xbox App is unable to turn on my Xbox One X. If I go to where the Xbox One X is and turn it on that way as normal, it will
    stream to the laptop.

    The Xbox app is up to date.

    Can anyone help.

    instant on isssues Xbox one X

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

    Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

    I have this issue aswell. Instant on mode does a full shut down every 24 hours or so. Not sure if it's a hardware issue or not.

    Is your Xbox One X configured as instant on or as power saving mode?

    Try switching these modes to see if this resolves the problem.
