    Instant On, but booted to logo screen?


    I had my Xbox set to instant on, but it would respond to the command and I had to press the front button, it booted to the logo screen, as if it were a cold boot.

    Was there an update released? Or was this just a bug or something lol

    Instant On no longer working on new dashboard?

    So today when I turned on my Xbox One I noticed it did not start up in Instant on mode but instead on Energy Saving Mode. So first thing I did was double check my settings so it was set to Instant On, it was, and restarted my Xbox One but it booted up on
    energy saving mode. Next I turned off my Xbox One, unplugged it and let it sit there for 15 minutes. I then plugged it in, turned on my Xbox One, made sure it was set on Instant On and then restarted it, but it booted up in energy saving mode again.

    For what it is worth I have the new Xbox One dashboard update. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

    XBOX LOGO

    Hi

    If your console has been set to instant on then the Xbox Logo will not appear when you switch the console on, if your console is set to energy saving then the logo will appear whilst the console is starting up.

    Occasionally the system does seem to completely shut down when in Standby. It's happened to me a few times. Doesn't seem to be anything to worry about except for looking a bit of a pleb shouting at your Xbox to come on. LOL

    My XBOX ONE is doing the same thing on a daily basis. I turn it off, the white light is on on the power brick, and everything is as it should be. I come back a hour later and the light is orange :-/ this has happened nearly every day for the past month.

    How long did you leave it for?

    During a cold boot it will show the logo then black screen for up to a minute before the green boot screen shows up.

    Hi yes I have a Xbox series x. I've also tried what you insisted but nothing seems to work. I'm stuck on the Xbox series x start up logo screen. Sometimes it acts up and sometimes it doesn't I even did a USB offline update today and still no luck. Thought of just keeping the console on instant on since it's the only way where it doesn't take long to boot up past the animation logo. Thanks
