    Instant error when attempting to stream my xbox screen to my windows 10 laptop


    My xbox settings have "Allow broadcast to other devices" enabled, and I have successfully connected it to my laptop via the Xbox Console Companion App. Through connect, I can see my active game or app on the xbox, but when attempting to "Stream" an error
    will immediately give an error saying "We couldn't stream from your console. Try again later." When using "Test Streaming" all broadcast qualities return with a red X about 3 minutes later.

    I have spoken with this issue to an Xbox Gamer and they we're unable to resolve the issue though re-installation, restart of the PC, and meeting the usual requirements of Broadcasting to PC.

    I am trying to play my xbox one on my laptop, as I have no TV, And I am trying to use an HDMI cable to be able to use my laptop screen as a monitor for my xbox one. I have searched everywhere on how to do it, but my xbox isnt connected to the internet
    to sue the xbox app for streaming, as I have no screen to use to connect it to the internet.
    Unless the HDMI is an input (usually it is output on a laptop) it will not work. You could use the xbox app if it is a WIndows 10 machine and stream to the console. It would help if both console and laptop have a hardwired Ethernet to prevent excessive
    lag.

    Hi There i am using windows 10 dell laptop When i record games i use the companion app for xbox stream it to my laptop and then use cam bar to record the screen of the laptop By using the shortcut , ctrl+r But you can set it up to what you prefer under
    settings in the game bar top center you wil find it. Hope this helps.

    laptops have a hdmi for output only so you could not use the laptop screen directly, but you can stream the xbox to the windows 10 xbox app but you will have latency and poorer resolution to boot.

    When opening the xbox app it says connecting and does not stop,and when i close the window it says "we cant sign you i right now" error 0x40b

    Same problem when trying to start on my Windows 10 Laptop the xBox app or xbox smart glass app or Groove. . xbox app always gives me the error code 0xbba and ask me to try later to connect. It worked 2 weeks ago including streaming a game from teh console
    to the laptop, but now.... . Any help would be very much appreciated!
