As Flight Simulator X was released on 2006, it's normal if with the latest windows update you're experiencing this issue

May I know if you tried running the installer in compatibility mode with Windows 7?

You have 2 ways to do it, first is right click on the .exe file and select "Troubleshoot compatibility"

Or right click and select properties and go to compatibility tab.

If you're receiving the same error, you may need to use a previous Windows 10 version or make a dual boot and install Windows 7 on another disk partition

I completely reset my Windows 10 install with cloud download on Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview Build 20190.rs_prerelease.200807-1609. First thing I installed on fresh OS. No dice

1) Windows 11;

2) C drive (the path that comes up in the set up wizard)

3) No error message; the Installshield wizard just disappears, and all files previously copied into c:\users\Joe Perrone\AppData\Local\MSFSPackage|\Official\OneStore are deleted. As well as the created folders

4) Ues. Yes, I see the redeemed game

I know how to install an application in windows. It not help me, it is more complicated as you imagiene, but no problame, i have already reinstalled the windows and the problame are solved by the way.

These would be helped me if you navigate me to how to back up to the offical windows 10 pro version without lose the datas, or maybe ward of the issue of targeted error... With a basic solvation method as you order, rarely help with an seriously windows
