Installs still taking too long

hi i just bought my xbox one yesterday. i have been trying to install demo's from the xbox store but installs are taking too long. i have read the sticky but those steps didn't work for me, even three times over. what else can i do?

Hey Darth Lupus. The Day 1 patch for Halo was 15GB so it can be gnarly based on your ISP/service tier, but I'd imagine it should have completed by now. There's a sticky thread at the top of this forum regarding slow installs that might help:

are you sure?

i just booted the console up now and it is still doing the same action rather than installing responsively, this is quite frustrating. like i said i tried what was suggested in the stickied thread regarding this but that didn't work.

 

How are you connected wire or wireless

are you installing digital or disc if disc install off line I wired just unplug Ethernet cable if wireless disable

 

Can you confirm your download/upload speed

 

i am wirelessly connected.

digital install.

 

Ok when you set up were there any system updates to install go to setting select system on the lower left, see if update is ready if yes select, if not go to network on the right there are 2 tests and detailed network, if your happy with results try an install
give it 15 mins if you feel its still the same I would do a factory reset which is in settings/system, you will need to set up again if that doesn't work you will need to exchange it.

 

hmph, i don't know. i got home this afternoon and it appears to have fixed itself. i didn't do anything else and no one else did as far as i'm aware. thank you for the prompt replies.
