Installing Xbox App update without Microsoft Store?

I'd prefer if I didn't have to format it, since I have many programs that I would have to install from scratch (the data will be there, but they need registry entries to work) and I currently don't have the time to allot to that task.

However, I'd like to mention that uninstalling Xbox and using the installer again worked... to a certain degree. I now have the latest version of the app, but for some reason it's very slow and unresponsive, to the point of being unusable. Whenever I click on something, it takes literal minutes to do anything, and the games don't load at all in the main page. This isn't an issue with my internet connection or my computer though, as both are working normally right now, and I definitely have more than enough power to run the app.

I suppose it might be time to give up on this endeavor.

Since the restore update didn't solve the problem, and the Xbox app is showing the mentioned glitches like slowness and other things, the only thing that would fix it was the complete system formatting and windows installation.

Normally the third solution would solve all system problems, as it is a windows restoration, as this did not solve the problem you should do a clean install of Windows 10 or 11 if that is your preference.

In this case, it will be necessary to format the computer, so back up your personal files.
