Installing XBox 360 game on Xbox one from disc - Install stuck on 0.00 %.

I am trying to install Batman Arkham Origins from the disc on my XBox one. The console recognizes the game, says that 19.1GB will need to be downloaded in order to update the game and play (I have plenty of room) but when it moves to install, it is stuck. It does nothing. The install message comes up in the install queue for the game, but the meter never moves beyond 0.00%. The game is listed as backward compatible. Is there anything else I can do to get this installed?

Thanks for getting back to me. I had already tried the hard reboot you had recommended, but you made me think that the problem might be the external hard drive I had hooked up to my XBox One... so I disconnected it and made sure I had enough room to do the install. That did the trick. The game is now installed and available.

• Would you mind giving this a try?

- Cancel the installation.
- Eject your disc.
- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Unplug the console's power cord for 5 minutes. If you have the original Xbox One, you'll have to unplug the power supply unit from both the console and the outlet.
- Turn your modem/router off and unplug them for 5 minutes.
- Plug everything back together.
- Turn your console on.
- Insert the disc.
- Try installing the game again.

• If that doesn't work, I'd appreciate your answering the following questions:

- May I ask which Xbox One model you are using?

- Are there any external storage units plugged into your console?

- Is your console connected to the internet via WiFi or Network cable?

like for some reason, I can’t play Xbox one game discs cuss they won’t install. I can only install and play Xbox 360 game discs and games that have been installed from the store.

You haven't stated if you are using a Xbox 360 or a Xbox One. If you are trying to install on a Xbox One, then the whole game installs without the need to install the 2nd disc. If you are using a Xbox 360, then you do not need to install the discs.
