    Installing Problems


    So the game installed to about 25% then it said start now. When I clicked it, a notification came up saying that I needed to update it. When I did it went back to zero and just says installing but hasn't been doing anything for the past 15 minutes. I uninstalled
    the game and tried again but the same thing keeps happening. This is my third time trying now. Any ideas how to fix this?

    I have a original XBOX360 and a 120gb HDD, decided to install the games to keep it nice and quiet. I installed MW3 no problem, put in NBA2k12 and it won't install completely, says "clean disc". This game installed fine twice on my 20gb HDD. It's doing
    it for all of my games other than MW3. It will get to different percentages and then pop up the dirty disc message... but the disc aren't scratched, damaged, cracked. I cleared the cache, and also tried downloading while signed out of LIVE. What could I
    try that I haven't.

    sad thing is, lol, you probably read this thread like, " ya, Hempseeds, this guy is just stoned.. enter cliche' stoner refernce" I've worked under contract for xbox and I'm not oblivious to the troubleshooting for standard problems, but I wouldn't say multiple
    reformats and install after install failing is.. the norm.. thanks for the help

    Installing Problems

    Go to offline mode, the update and game installation are causing a conflict trying do both together. Do not update the game intill it is done installing.

    Just let the whole game install. I tried to play when it got to 25% and it asked me to get update I declined to get it due to the problems of it locking the install process up. I had to goto my games and app's to resume the install. Hit the start button
    over the game to resume the install. Leave the update alone til you have the whole game installed.

    Im getting the same problem as well. Trying to install NBA 2k12 but it stays at the white circle. Other games I've installed on this system never gave me any trouble (last one I did was about two weeks ago).

    Truly this is the first time I've ever heard of this happening, especially when trying on multiple consoles. Have you tried using another disc (if possible)?
