Installing Minecraft-Java version on my Laptop

Good morning everybody,

I bought the license of Minecraft-Java ＆Bedrock. I managed to install Minecraft for windows. on my Laptop with Windows 11 However, I failed to install Minecraft-Java version. I even tried un-installing and re-installing minecraft. However, this did not sort out the problem. By the way, the re-installation of Minecraft was so slow and took about a day to download and install on my laptop

Any advise on sorting out this problem?

Minecraft Launcher is the same thing as Minecraft Java! I have issue with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (Not JAVA EDITION). Do you understand this?
When i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on my laptop from Microsoft Store it has the latest version but when i installed Minecraft: Bedrock Edition at another device (PC) from Microsoft store it stuck on 1.17.10 version and don't updating to 1.17.41 version. This is Microsoft Store's problem, it doesn't updating my Minecraft to the last version on my PC.

P.S PC and laptop has Windows 10.

Dear Lucas,

Thank you very much for your kind offer to help me and prompt reply. Please find attached 3 screenshots for:

1- Link to install Minecraft-Java version from XBOX application at: MS Store>Library>

2- XBOX application window after I start the installation process

3- The message that I got on XBOX which tells me that the installation has failed.

I don't use VPN or Proxy. However, I am using Norton 360 Deluxe software for internet security. This software has a VPN that is switched off on this computer.

Hi Anthony. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

The locations you have listed are for different versions of Minecraft. The first location is for Minecraft Bedrock, the second location is for Minecraft Java.

Save data is not compatible between these versions, you need to install Minecraft Bedrock on the new laptop and copy the data to the same location as before.

If the Gamertag is different, you have probably signed into the incorrect Microsoft account. Double-check the old laptop's Xbox profile and account to ensure the correct Microsoft account is being used.

The Minecraft you have installed right now is Java version or windows 10 version?
