installing Microsoft flight simulator getting error 0x00000001 and the game does not install.

hi , i recently purchased game pass , now when i try installing Microsoft flight simulator i keep getting error 0x00000001 and the game does not install.

i have tried resetting the store / Xbox/ gaming service apps but all waste.

also checked on other forums , they say it is due to widows update , so checked that too. but the pc is updated too

even tried installing update file KB5004476 offline, but the pc says the update is not applicable to your computer.

now stuck, have already been sitting in front of pc for last 18 odd Hours.

After some more searching, I found that I did not completely delete all Flight Sim. related downloads. Probably the delete process does not delete automatically 100% of all this data on your PC and / or External drive. Consequently, "double" data makes the new installed F.S. unstable, because it does not know where to collect the data from....I guess....

So, search in your " File Explorer" for F.S. related software and delete evrything you may find. Then Install F.S. from scratch (again). There is of course the option to buy XBOX S / X ...ha..ha.. A bit more expensive solution, but more stable.

Perhaps I have a solution ??!! After problems to play / update the already installed the Flight Simulator. I have deleted and re-installed the Flight Sim. App. Not possible! (done that at least 15 times). I eventually got to the download level (although not always) , but installing the Game has been frustrating and takes a long time (installation broke off immediately, or after a download of 64 GIB). Always with a indicator that the Microsoft Store Package Dependency Installer was not working,

My Solution: as a last option, I tried to do the whole process on an external (!!) disk .... and it works!

hi, have already sent both of them the emails regarding the issue , but i am sure the way Microsoft works it will be a long time to resolve if at all it gets resolved
