Installing Issues - Help!

I recently bought Metal Gear Solid V I put the Disc in and it starts installing it got to 98% then said installation stopped I tryed for about 8 hours trying to force it through the last 2% to no avail. So I looked up online solutions and tried the following:

Clean Disc

Hard Reset Console

Reset Router

Install Offline

Skip Update Check

Install Update First

Update Console

Get New Disc

Rinse Repeat with new Disc

Did all that even forked over an additional $60 for a brand new copy since the first was used but still it stops installing but now after I tried all solutions it stops at 44% everytime.

Hardware problems on Xbox One

I friend of mine just got his earlier. I help him set it up and what can I say? No issues at all. I guess the issue was probably due to the delivery. Or maybe something went wrong while installing. The console works fine. If there are issues Microsoft is sure to post a help article for this online.

 

I once had a similar problem with a different game and when I deleted all previous installation progress (Games & Apps -> Press Menu on MGS -> Manage Game -> Uninstall All) and retried the install it worked. Try that first so it can try a fresh install
to see if that works.

 

Still did not work I deleted the install progress and did a console reset it WAS however able to get to 54%

 

It would be nice if I could contact Xbox Support directly but they no longer provide direct support to consumers

 

Can someone please link an Xbox employee to this post I can't call the support line due to my phone plan and I'm not making a twitter to just solve this single problem

Hi, are you using a wireless connection if so can you try a wired connection at all ?

If you go to settings/ all settings/ network/ advanced settings/ alternate MAC address, select Clear and then Restart and then try the installation again.

 

I am using a wired connection I have even hard reset my router I do not know why that would effect a Disc installation
