    Installing .iso from usb

Hello, My game disc (Mafia 2) got scratched (circle scratch all around). I can play the game, but when i'm in episode 7, the game won't load. I tried installing it from disc, but the game just won't install. I managed to download .iso from internet.
Can i install the game from that .iso from usb, and then run it with original disc?

    :)

    Hackers Online in free mode!?

Thank you. There are no USB mods for GTA IV online multiplayer. There are only ISO mods. Thank you, Officer Gotti.

Sorry but any attempt to use an illegal copy (ie. download .iso file) could result in the console and/or gamertag being banned from Live.

What I would suggest is either purchase a new copy or borrow a friends to install (you would then only need your copy to prove ownership when you play).

With that being said I wanted to mention that the circle scratch is caused with the console is moved with the disc inside it. I would recommend laying the console flat if it is standing on end or finding a more stable surface for it to sit on to prevent
this from happening in the future.

Game installs are generated to only work with your account. He wouldn't be able to get it to work with his console anyway, unless he modifies his firmware, but then he would get banned anyway.

Borrow a disc from a friend, or local library. Install it. Or, buy your game again on Xbox Live and forget about the disc anyway! Keep in mind that once you install a game on a storage device, it cannot be moved to another storage device. Not even with a
    transfer cable.

Xbox app opens but stuck in update phase

Yes its a legitimate activated copy and the copy of the iso came from the Microsoft website around 2-3 months ago but never had issues with this version in the past and have used it to set up several other systems too with no issue.

But I will go home and install a new iso onto my USB and try again then update you with my results.

Unable to use Xbox app and games in Windows 10

You don't need to save the ISO content on USB. Just download the ISO and open it (or the setup.exe). It will open the Windows installation or repair tool. Select upgrade > Download from the cloud > Keep games and apps.

You can also follow the steps under the selection entitled "Reset your PC" and "Keep my files" option from: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12415/...

    Microsoft store not updating games!

Whenever I downloaded it, and went to run it, it's not popping up.

Edit: When I did get it installed its asking me where to redownload windows at, but not giving me and option on either of my disk drives, either USB or ISO
