Installing gta 5 on Xbox 360

When installing gta 5 on my USB (2.0 16 gb) the installation stops at 1844gb. The circle keeps spinning though. I have no idea how to continue the installation and I want to play. Please help.

That has absolutely nothing to do with what the OP is talking about. He is having problems installing the mandatory install of Disc 1..That article is talking about installing Disc 2 to a USB because of pop in textures...which is the play disc....

It's true they originally said they do not recommend installing the game disc to the Hard Drive, however, it has been shown that installing the game disc to a USB drive and the installation disc to the Hard Drive gives better performance.

Clean your disc, and make sure your storage device isn't crappy.

 

Hey! I'm so sorry to hear you're having problems! Sadly, you need a 64GB USB thumb drive to instal the game. Although a Hard Drive is recommended. You will not be able to install and play without a 64GB USB storage. Trust me. I had the same problem.
