Installing games to Xbox one. Please help?!

Try doing the following:

1) Disconnect the console from Xbox Live.

2) Power cycle the console by holding down the Xbox button on the front of the controller for ten seconds.

3) Restart console, but don't connect to Xbox Live yet.

4) Install the game.

5) Connect to Xbox Live.

6) Install any game updates (if required).

that is strange I purchased it online and the download and install took about 45 minutes

then the speed of the optical drive isn't the problem.

A 6x blu-ray drive is capable of a faster data transfer rate than the 12x DVD drive in the 360.

^Fortunately, that has never happened to me. Sounds like it would be annoying, though.

don't forget, when installing a game it has to stop installing for no reason to cause a lot of butt hurt causing you to go through a whole process just to get it back on track setting you back a couple of hours before it stops again and repeat
