    Hi all,

    When I am trying to install Ark: Survival Evolved on my windows 10 PC I am getting the error below:

    SOMETHING WENT WRONG

    Reporting this problem will help us understand it better. You can wait for a while and try again or restart your device. That may help.

    Code: 0x803F8001

    I have tried the below with no sucesss:

    1. I have tried giving all user full control in the packages folder in %appdata%

    2. Removed all directorys I can find relating to the game and re-installing

    3. Tried installing to a diffrent drive, the option to change install drive doesn't appear when clicking install

    4. The DLC packages for the game install fine

    5. Other games/apps install fine

    6. Tried resetting Microsoft Store Apps

    Can anybody suggest anything else to try that may fix this?

    Thanks for the response. Thanks for the information, will help me with figuring out what is causing the issue by pointing me in right direction. I am the owner of the game, it shows under my content in the store and I can play the game on my Xbox One X,
    I only have one gamer tag.

    Ark Survival Evolved: Required to purchase Extinction?

    Ark Survival Evolved is a full game, and Ark Extinction is an add-on. Your title and description are contrary to each other and so I'm confused.

    If you purchased Ark Survival Evolved then you should be just able to play it. However, if you purchased Ark Extinction then you must also purchase Ark
    Survival Evolved.
