Installing Froza Horizon 5 stuck at preparing

Hello,

I'm trying to install FH5 on my PC, I have two SSDs, one as boot drive (C) and another for games and applications (F). There isn't much room left on disk C (only 200GB left) so I'm trying to install it on disk F (570GB left).

But as long as I set installing location at F, it shows "Preparing 0%", then after like 10 seconds, the download was cancelled automatically. But if I set the installing location at C, it works. Is there anyway to install it at disk F?

I already installed Age of Empires IV on disk F, so I don't think it's the disk problem. Thanks

Try reinstalling the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10 device:

- Right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).

- In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

- In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

- Install the app on that page, and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

- Restart your device, and try to install the game again.

If that doesn't help, Go below in regedit and delete both keys and reboot.

Of course. Tou will not do it from the xbox app. But from your Windows settings.

Go the settings > applications > from the list of all your applications installed on your PC, look for the game you want to move > click once on it > should be an option there "move". Click on it and select the drive you want to move to. That's it.

Update: I still couldn't update the game after moving game to disk C, nothing happened after clicking update

I see. Jerry, I do advise you try to do it, using the ISO image tool you get to keep your installed games and your files.

Also, I do advise you to try to report to Forza team directly:

Well, I just tried the ISO image tool, but it did not help.

I also submitted a ticket to Forza team, but they said they can only help with in-game issues.

So, I have no idea how to solve this right now.
