    Installing Forza Horizon 5


    Upon launching Forza Horizon 5, it would immediately boot up the Microsoft store and bring me to the gaming services app page, and would never load the page itself. Confused, I had already repaired and reset gaming services, the Microsoft store, and Forza Horizon 5 itself to no avail. I figured I could just perform the same old trick of uninstalling and reinstalling the game once again, however I was now met with the endless text of "PREPARING 0%". It never actually started the download, it never does, I've reset the Xbox app, restarted my pc, PowerShell removed gaming services multiple times, uninstalled Xbox app multiple times and nothing is working. This is literally the only game I'm having issues with, no other game has given me as many issues as FH5 has. I can't install FH5 to play anymore. I have MORE than enough space on both my C: and D: drive to install this. I've found no fixes that work, I would really like some help.

    My specs if needed are as follows:

    NVIDIA RTX 2060

    Ryzen 7 4800H

    16GB of RAM

    Up to date drivers and an up to date Windows 11 OS.

    Forza Horizon 5 gets stuck on preparing and then cancles - Windows 11

    This is what helped me and got Forza to download.
    1. Go into the Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition.
    2. Next you want to click on Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition and you want to click Install from the Xbox app.
    3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.
    4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.

    Incomplete download, after reboot cannot download nor can i free up space

    Hi, I'm lvnley and this is what helped me and got Forza to download!
    1. Go into the Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition.
    2. Next you want to click on Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition and you want to click Install from the Xbox app.
    3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.
    4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.
