Installing Forza Horizon 3 on Windows 10

Hello there,

I would like to ask on how to install the Forza Horizon 3 on my laptop.

I watched the installation tutorial on YouTube. The instruction is to open the Windows Store application, go to My Library and download FH3.

However, after i click the download button, the reaction is not the same like what i saw in the video. It supposed to pop out a dialog box which we have to select the HDD we want to save the game and the download will started.

Instead, my Windows Store apps got freeze and no download appears.

Appreciate if you may help me to solve this problem.

I'm running Windows 10 home edition (and i don't have any Xbox console)

Hey BIG BAZOOKA L,

Please make sure your PC is running the Anniversary Update. Check Windows Updates if theres an Update available.

If you have installed the Anniversay Update look in the Windows 10 App Store (the bag with the 4 Windows). In the right Corner next to your Searchbar is your Profile, click on it and select "My Library" from the Dropdown. Look if its appearing under your
Games.

If not search with the Searchbar in the upper right for "Forza Horizon" and select your Version. If your on the Anniversary Update there should appear a download Button.

Please make also sure your logged into your PC and the Store with the Account you bought FH3 with.

Installing Forza Horizon 3 on Windows 10

I just bought Forza Horizon 3 Deluxe Edition and now it says I own it on my "Store" app on my PC. I cannot find the "Download" button for it. I've looked everywhere and talked to a support guy and he said it's broken and Microsoft is trying to fix it. I'm
just trying to find the download link...

I have found the solution for my case above.

Here’s how its done-

Press Windows key + Q

Type: troubleshooting

Hit Enter

Type: store

Double click Windows Store apps

Follow the on screen instructions

and I would suggest you to rename the software distribution folder by following the steps below and check if it helps:

1. Type cmd in the search bar.

2. Right click and select "run as administrator"

3. Copy the following command and press enter after each line:

net stop wuauserv

cd %systemroot%

ren SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

net start wuauserv

4. Restart the computer and try to download the apps.
