Installing age of empires

Im trying to install AOE, but a screen comes up saying 'we will install on selected drive' but in the box below there is a ' no drive available' message. Can anyone advise please?

Because the Age of Empire games are PC only. They can't be installed on consoles.

Are you saying that when you start Age of Empires, instead of launching it does something different? Or are you seeing this issue within the game? If you have screenshots of this behavior or where you are seeing the issue, this will help showcase what you're explaining here.

Thanks for contacting us my name is Samy, I am advisor independent and I will be helping you today.

1.Open Windows Update and look for updates, update everything, including optional updates. Restart to apply updates and try again.

2.Press Windows Key + i and go to apps, search for ''gaming services'' click ''advanced options'' and then ''terminate, repair and reset. Try installing the game again.

3.Launch PowerShell as an administrator and enter

“get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”

Restart your PC, open PowerShell as admin again, and enter

“start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”

The Microsoft Store will open and ask to install Gaming Services, install. Then try installing any game again.

Hi,

the problem has resolved.

Steam was installed to play Age of Empires HD.

It seems Steam effects XBox Life in a way that Minecraft Beta can't start.

After deinstallation of Age of Empires HD and Steam I reinstalled Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and

everything is perfect.

hi, im getting the same error but with windows 11 when installing age of empires 4 and with all the updates already installed in the windows. ive repaired/reinstalled gaming services, repaired xbox, microsoft store apps and pretty much all else that was on offer on the net. its just happening with age of empires 4 otherwise i am able to install games from xbox. i would appreciate any help
