Installed Games will not start

I recently returned my Xbox for a new system.

After installing Star Wars Battlefront fully and playing the game on several occasions, I one day received a message saying "just getting your game ready your game will start soon". From this point whenever I tried to start the game:

1) The cover image would go full screen for a few seconds

2) I would get a black screen for 1-2 seconds

3) I would be retuned to Dashboard

The game did not appear to be updating. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still nothing worked so returned the console for a new one. On the new system I have fully installed Withcer 3 and have been playing for around a week and a half. I signed
in offline and put the disk in. I received the pop up "just getting your game ready your game will start soon". After this exactly the same.

2) I would get a black screen for 1-2 seconds

3) I would be retuned to Dashboard

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this? I am sick of spending money and time installing games to not be able to play them.

Games with Gold - installed game with Xbox 360 only on Xbox One.

I have one more problem.

I installed the game - Assasins's Creed from Xbox 360 - on Xbox One S. However, when I want to start the game, an error message appears on the screen - error code 0x803F8001.

The game does not start, but it is installed. I do not know what to do to run it.

Monster Hunter World will not start, just bought and installed from microsoft store

I just bought and installed Monster Hunter World from the xbox one store and installed it. The game load screen starts for about ten seconds then just goes back to xbox hub. Restarted it several times, uninstalled and reinstalled... same thing. Game will
not start. What to do?

I had the same issue before when using game disc. It would be best to try doing a reset factory default on your console. That usually helps fix everything. If not, you might want to go with checking your warranty options.

Games can be "flagged" as being in a certain status like trials or game downloaded via game pass expire when they are removed from game pass. Did you try just clicking on install game to see what it does like just validate the install. Worst case is
that you may have to remove the game and reinstall it to convert it from the game pass game to the purchased game even though its the same thing.
