Installed games through Xbox Beta taking up twice the hard drive space

I noticed this issue with Metro Exodus, but I assumed it was caused by an issue that I had during installation. I had to download the game twice, as I recall. However, having now uninstalled Metro Exodus and installed The Outer Worlds, I find that the
Xbox Beta app has done it again. The size of the download for The Outer Worlds was about 37 GB. When I do a TreeSizeFree scan, I can see that that space is being used twice. A block 37.3 GB large shows up under the C:\Programs Files\Windows Apps\MSIXVC
    folder

    AND

Another folder, which is 37.1 GB, shows up under C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\PrivateDivision.TheOuterWorldsWindows10_xxxxxxxxx

I installed to the C Drive, with is an SSD, for better performance, but space is at a premium on my older SSD, and it seems ridiculous that the games are taking up twice the space. Anybody else having issues with this? I tried Googling but I found nothing.
Lots of people wondering what the MSIXVC folder is, but no mention of the second location of the game files under WindowsApps.

So in order to delete the files in the MSIXVC folder you have to kill the Stub Service program for the Xbox app; however, if you delete the files in said folder, the folders for the games themselves (i.e. PrivateDivision.TheOuterWorldsWindows10) become
inaccessible along with all the contents of the folder. It says that the resource or folder is no longer available. So that leads me to believe that the files in the MSIXVC folder remain as a virtual mounted drive of sorts. If I restore the file from the recycle
bin, the folder is accessible again. I verified this with Bloodstained as well. This needs to be fixed.

Yes i had this exact same issue, you should take ownership of the WindowsApp folder and delete the files manually, its the only way to get them out of the SSD.

Uninstalling them from the xbox app doesnt actually remove them from your computer.
