    hey guys! i got an issue with my installed games. when im trying to play it keeps telling me that "this is an installed game , insert the original disc to play... I can play downloaded games; but i can't play installed gamees from discs.... any idia???

    Xbox One lets you play during download, Microsoft confirms

    they only mentioned discs being installed before not games being downloaded from LIVE

    Game Installation By Disc Fixed On Xbox One?

    When you install by disc it installs from the disc. It doesn't download the entire game, only updates.

    That is because you need to have the original game disc in the tray in order to play the game

    i'm sorry but this answer is helpless , however my console wasn't like that before untill i changed my profile to live. but i chated with the (right person , not you) all i had to do is deleting and re-downloading my account. but you tried anyway. thanks.

    Xbox vibrating when downloading a game

    When you say downloading a game, do you mean installing from a disc or downloading from Xbox Live? If installing from disc, then there is a some vibration from the the spin of the disc when the game is installing.

    If the original install of the game was from disc it will expect the disc to be in the console. You would need to remove the game and install from the cloud to not have it expect the disc in the console.

    If you are installing off of a disc, then disconnect your system from the internet. The patch and the game install are fighting against each other. Disconnect, install the game from disc, reconnect, and install patch.

    Hey all,

    In order to access the DLC in the game you will need to install the game from Disc 2. So if you currently have installed from Disc 1, be sure to delete the game and then install again from Disc 2 for all of the DLC to be installed.

    Try those steps and see if they help out.

    Can you download a game from your disc to hardrive???

    No, you cannot "Download" a Game from Disc. You can Install a Game Disc. Installing a Game does not negate having to use the Disc though.
