Discus and support Installation Stops at 9.64GB in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I Bought the Game of The Year Edition CD and when I inserted the disc it starts installation but always stops at 9.64GB.     Installation Stops at 9.64GB


    I Bought the Game of The Year Edition CD and when I inserted the disc it starts installation but always stops at 9.64GB.

    I don't know what to do.

    Any ideas ? I've tried Power Cycling the console, with and without the disc, and even installing whilst connected as well as disconnected to the Internet.

    Installation stops at 49%

    Try installing the game not connected to Xbox Live. That was an issue I faced when the Xbox One first released. Hope it helps.

    I have this same problem. Disc is brand new no scratches or smudges or anything like that. Uninstalled it reinstalled. Cleared cache, reset manufacturing settings, & this is all on a new opened console. I installed BF4 when I gave up on 2k14 & it installed
    perfectly. Tried 2k again & again 49%. Please help!!!

    It could be downloading an update from this point possibly.

    I had exactly the same problem copying games off of a backup disk. It would just stop copying. The only way to start it again was to restart the box.

    Now I've got the games loaded performance is dreadful. Wolfenstein just keeps freezing, it's unplayable.

    It could be that an update is causing the installation to stop. Try taking the console offline for the duration of the disc install to see if that helps (delete the current install before you try this)

    Did that and also unplugged the power.. it's farther than it's gotten all day so hopefully that's a good sign. Thanks
