installation stops at 3% code dirty disc damaged disc

we have a xbox one and bought battlefield one - will not install - stops at 3% and code comes up 0x87e00064 saying the disc is damaged or dirty - not so since its brand new - tried uninstalling and tried again but the same code error came up - what now ?

Black ops 3 disc not downloading

So I got the disc version of Black ops 3 and it comes with nuk3town and I download it and in 3% it says"Installation stopped: Disc might be dirty or damaged" and its not damaged or dirty I JUST got it. Please help.

XBOX ONE NOT READING GAME AND EJECT BUTTON TURNS OFF THE CONSOLE

I am experiencing the same exact thing, it does play some of the other games, but now I am trying to install COD Advance Warfare, as I just got it, but it stops the installation and then it says that my disc may be damaged or dirty; once i press the button
to get the disc out, the console goes off; Can someone help us out?

I searched for a solution for you and unfortunately this is the only thing I could turn up with, its from a YouTube video in which the person has experienced this issue and has done the following with his disc. The solution below is from the YouTube video

*FIX* The issue is nothing to do with the console unless it is making a brutal skipping sound upon entering the disk. The real problem is the disk. The BluRay CD that the manufacturer sold you has corrupt files and the only way to fix it is to return and
get a new disk OR return it and buy the digital copy.

I hope you find a better solution or the previous solution works!

It could also be updates interfering with the install. Before you return the disc for an exchange try taking your console offline (either via settings if wireless or by unplugging your ethernet cable) and then install the game to see if that helps.

i cant even install it on my new XB1S console it stops at around 7% saying the disc is dirty or damaged but i can install it without problems on my old xb1 console

Hi,

This error is a disc read error. A cyclic redundancy check (CRC) is an error reading the data from a disc. There could be a number of reasons for this:

The data on the disc is corrupt (highly unlikely)
The area of the disc being read is dirty or damaged
Your PC DVD drive laser isn't working as it should or the diode is dirty

The main part of of MSF2020 can be installed on practically any drive, it does not need to be C:\. Mine is installed on my internal SSD F:\ drive.

Check the disc isn't dirty or damaged. If it's dirty clean it with a soft none-abrasive cloth.
