    Ever since the Xbox update around November 10/11 I have never been able to install or update anything. I literally get the installation stopped message the instant I try anything. I've been trying for literally 2 weeks to resolve this and I'm about to go
    crazy. I've done everything from the 5 second hold on the power button to factory reset while keeping games and apps then factory reset with removing even my profile. I've tried clearing local saved games. Tried installing offline which only got me so far
    since literally everything I have is digitally downloaded which means any disc tips or tricks are out of the picture. Plus if it's all digital download I can't see them without being online so offline update or trouble shooting of any sort is also out of the
    picture. I can't technically "re- install" anything since after doing factory reset and everything know being in the [Ready to install section) since when I click on anything like I said before which can even be just YouTube which is an app not a game it will
    start then immediately stop installation and give me the installation error code. The code is 8007000e which yes I've already check multiple times is the installation error code on here but it just tells me to reset my Xbox in a nutshell which hasn't done
    anything. It's done far from anything. Since this isn't just happening to all of my digital downloaded games which is 100% of my games but rather to any app too I feel this might have now turned into a hardware issue but still why did this happen after shortly
    after the update? I've done everything I could on my end so either my xbox just randomly broke on me for no apparent reason or something went wrong with Microsoft on their update. Is there anything I could still do that is left without getting a replacement/repair
    by sending it in? like what is up?

    Halo 3 ODST "installation stopped" at 100% for many people

    nothing, 100% installation and nothing, installation stopped.... Installation Stopped :(

    Installation Stopped on Elder Srolls Online Xbox one

    it always says "Installation Stopped" and when i press "Resume Installation" it tries and boots up for about 10 seconds and then stops again with the "Installation Stopped" message popping back up

    I had exactly the same problem copying games off of a backup disk. It would just stop copying. The only way to start it again was to restart the box.

    Now I've got the games loaded performance is dreadful. Wolfenstein just keeps freezing, it's unplayable.

    It could be that an update is causing the installation to stop. Try taking the console offline for the duration of the disc install to see if that helps (delete the current install before you try this)

    Did that and also unplugged the power.. it's farther than it's gotten all day so hopefully that's a good sign. Thanks

    Sorry to hear it. Can you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps solve the issue?
