"Installation Stopped"

Hi there, I've been having this problem for a few days. I bought the new Overlord digitally game on Xbox One and it gets up to 79% and then stops installing. I've tried reinstalling, doing a hard reset, etc etc, but it just keeps stopping at 79% and
if I hit try again it just stops instantly. This seems to have happened just out of the blue as I haven't had any console updates recently, and I'm not previewing the new dashboard.

Been trying everything I have read on forums about the bug last update.

I have hard resetted about 5 times

I have unplugged about 4 times and left it sitting for 5-10 minutes each time

I have removed my profile and resigned in

Nothing worked. My friend let me borrow Wolfenstein and I want to play play it pretty badly. Its stuck at 41% and wont progress. I just get error "0x87e00064".

"Your disc might be dirty or damaged. Try cleaning it..."

Its not dirty, scratched, nothing.

Please help

Try deleting the game, then do the hard reset by holding the power button down until the console turns off and uplug it for 30 second from the outlet then plug it back in turn it back on and try reinstalling the game again

 

So I've now spent hours talking to MS support, tried every fix in the book, and while waiting for me to test my connection by downloading a demo the lady I was talking to just up and vanished.

 

same thing is happening to me, trying to install diablo 3, first time i noticed the installation kept topping it was near 50%, i cancelled and tried again this time is stopped at 43% now ive cancelled and tried it three more times and it stops at 38% and
wont go any further, ive tried every fix in thr book every reset option, and nothing works,

as the game asks me to download an update whilst installing it ive tried going offline and installing and it hasnt fixed the problem either, starting to become very frustrated

also my brother downloaded the Xbox preview thing with the new dashboard, ive noticed all sorts of bugs wondering if this is causing the issue possibly?

 

Hey I'm not sure if it'll help, but some people fixed a similar issue by changing their DNS server, which as far as I know isn't listed anywhere on Microsoft's troubleshooting, so it's worth a shot:

FunkayFooj, since you have the preview dashboard, you'll want to have your brother report the issue via the preview app on the console, or in the preview forums (forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx).
If you get a message that says Group Not Found, have him create a post here requesting access:

forums.xbox.com/.../4268.aspx

Also, it sounds like your issue is different, because you are installing from a disc. Usually, turning the Xbox off by holding the Xbox logo on the front until it fully shuts down and unplugging the power cord from the back for 5 minutes will help this.
I always choose Update Later when prompted, because it makes the game install faster.

Even if it works after that, you'll still want to have him report it so the preview team is aware of the issue.
