Installation Stopped

Whenever I try to download a game it keeps saying after about an hour of downloading ‘installation stopped’. Once this happens I have to pause the game and start it up again to which it says ‘installation stopped’ later on. Ive tried resetting/hard resetting
the xbox as well as unplugging the power from the router and my xbox one s.

My battlefield 4 installation seems stuck in a "stopped" loop

Keep getting the message popping up at the bottom.

 

Installation stopped !

Select/highlight the game in "my Games and apps" and press the menu button on the controller (3 lines) you should see the option to re-install and it should resume installing where you left off, when selected.

Hey there.

Try pausing the installation and after few seconds resuming it again.

If that does not work, do a power cycle (turn off the console, remove the power cable for 15 seconds, turn it on again) and then try again what i said before.

If that does not work have a look here.

 

Im trying to download a digital game instead of a disc, weirdly all of the digital games I have tried to download do not work. Could it be because they’re digital?

I have the same problem but its with all my games .

it downloads about 20 mins and says download stopped

and its doing the same with games I buy off the store

 

I have tried that but it didnt seem to do anything. Could it be because they’re digital? All of the games im trying to download are digital.

 

Hey, I’ve only tried a few of my games but it most likely happens with all of them, never had this problem.

Thanks for replying to keep us updated with your issue. If you've already attempted the solution that Leo provided to you but are still having difficulties in getting your game to download and install, I'd recommend moving onto the Troubleshoot
slow game or app downloads on Xbox One article for further help. I know this can be frustrating and I am hoping that this helps a bit more.

Try clearing the cache. Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out.
Then wait another 30 and turn it on again. After trying this, reinstall the game.
It may work for you .
