installation stopped

My Fallout 4 got corrupted some how as I was always invisible. So I deleted the game and reinstalled. The game is Fallout 4 and when it tries to install the update it gets between 44 and 49 % it stops. I am using a disk it is in prime shape no scratches
or smudges. I have a 50 gig wired internet and over 50% of my hd is empty. It tells me my disk might be dirty but it isn't and this is supposed to be a upgrade. any help would be appreciated

Halo 3 ODST "installation stopped" at 100% for many people

nothing, 100% installation and nothing, installation stopped....

Installation Stopped on Elder Srolls Online Xbox one

it always says "Installation Stopped" and when i press "Resume Installation" it tries and boots up for about 10 seconds and then stops again with the "Installation Stopped" message popping back up

I had exactly the same problem copying games off of a backup disk. It would just stop copying. The only way to start it again was to restart the box.

Now I've got the games loaded performance is dreadful. Wolfenstein just keeps freezing, it's unplayable.

It could be that an update is causing the installation to stop. Try taking the console offline for the duration of the disc install to see if that helps (delete the current install before you try this)

Did that and also unplugged the power.. it's farther than it's gotten all day so hopefully that's a good sign. Thanks

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps solve the issue?
