Installation stopped!

hey guys

I have a downloading problem , which is when ever I download a game or an update it starts downloading without any problem but after one or two hours it stops but I can resume the installation , this happens all the time so I need to do it every 1 o 2 hours
so as to complete the download.

help please....

it always says "Installation Stopped" and when i press "Resume Installation" it tries and boots up for about 10 seconds and then stops again with the "Installation Stopped" message popping back up

What is your current connection setup? I've experienced similar issues awhile back when I was running off of slower Wi-Fi connections.

Did you issue a permanent IP address to your console?

 

Try going to your Advanced Network settings, and clear the Clear Alternate MAC Address.

 

tried it yesterday and it did not solve the problem

To check, are you connected wired or wireless? If you're wireless can you test with a wired connection to see if that helps?

First let's try powering down your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 10 seconds (or until the Xbox One powers off). Once it's shut off unplug your network hardware completely for 30 seconds and reconnect. Once your network has restarted power
your Xbox One back on and try the download again.

I am experiencing the same issue as described above. I followed those steps and was unsuccessful in resolving my issue. Support rep told me to wait 24 hrs and try again. If that didn't work then to just get a refund.
