Installation stopped

So, I bought Steep right after launch, played it a while, but then moved on.

I buy all my games exclusively from the Xbox Store, meaning every game is digital, nothing on disk.

Also, I'm using a Western Digital external hard drive, which is set as my default storage.

Last night, I wanted to try Steep again, and as I had deleted it earlier, I went into My Games & Apps, Ready to Install, and went ahead and downloaded it again.

But immediately after clicking download, I get a notification saying Installation Stopped. Tried repeatedly, did the power cycle stuff, everything. Even tried switching the external hard drive to a different USB port, but same problem.

If I try downloading Steep to the internal drive, it works, but I can't move it to the external after it's downloaded, because I'll just get the Installation Stopped notification again.

Now, the strange thing is that this seems to be a problem only for a certain few games. I've tried downloading other games from "Ready to Install" to my external hard drive, with no problems. But I tried Steep, Bioshock 2 and Dragon Age: Inquisition, and
with all three, none will download, and I get the same "Installation Stopped" message immediately.

So, does anyone know of a fix, or at least have any idea why some (most) games download to the external hard drive just fine, while certain other games simply refuse to download?

nothing, 100% installation and nothing, installation stopped....

 

Installation Stopped on Elder Srolls Online Xbox one

it always says "Installation Stopped" and when i press "Resume Installation" it tries and boots up for about 10 seconds and then stops again with the "Installation Stopped" message popping back up

Do you see any changes with this after clearing alternate MAC address and restarting your Xbox One console? You can find those in Settings>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear .

Also, can you please send us your Detailed Network Stats (Settings>Network>Network Settings>Detailed Network Statistics) as seen on your Xbox One console?
