Installation stopped xbox one s

We are trying to install fora horizon 2 on my son's xbox one s. Game would not install, said installation stopped and please check disk it may be dirty. I replaced the game, but now it keeps stopping, first at 21% and now at 26%. I have tried cancelling
the installation turning off the console and reinstalling. I have also tried disconnecting from wifi and installing from the disk. This problem also happened with Call of Duty Ghosts, but when I had the game replaced it installed fine. This time replacing
it has not helped much. The xbox is new, it was a christmas present. Up until now we haven't had any problems. I am not sure where to start and I have no idea how to clean it if it has somehow collected dust like the shop suggested it may have. Any one else
have this issue before? I've read a little online about others having this problem, but haven't found a solution.

Installation or update not working

just recently bought an xbox one s. Trying to redownload all my games and it all keeps saying installation stopped. This is for digital downloads and updates. Nothing works. Please help

 

Hey there Joshua!

I'm sorry to hear about the issue installing Forza Horizon 2. If you haven't yet, you'll want to take a peek at the
disc error troubleshooting guide. There is a section for discs not installing that provides some additional steps to try.

Worth through all those steps and see if anything there helps. When you replaced the disc, was it with a new, unopened, copy or a pre-owned copy? If the games were pre-owned, it's possible that the discs are damaged in someway.
