Installation Stopped when updating overnight.

Recently I bought Halo 5 on a physical disc, and took my console offline so I could install the game without any trouble. I then began installing the 25GB update.

Since my internet is slow, it has taken a few days, and the past 2 nights, I make sure it is ready to download overnight, but when I check it the next morning, it says Installation Stopped, and the update has made no progress since I left it to download.

This happens during the day sometimes as well, but not very often.

Does anyone know why this is happening? Is there something I need to do to get it to update without stopping?

Help! CoD Ghosts won't update!

Their is a new update for cod ghosts and whenever I put my disc in it says "Updating...100%" and then just suddenly pops up with "Installation Stopped" it does not say why the installation was stopped, and when ever I click try installing again it goes
to updating 100 % again and gives me the error code "0x80070570" PLEASE HELP!

i just tried gta v . But before updating gta entered in the installation but stopped at 964mb

 

I got H5 a couple days ago im having the same issue, 14 hours and im at 77% on my 3rd attempt total time wasted trying to get one update is 36 hours... THIRTY-SIX HOURS!!!!!!!!! i find the first 2X the installation stopped i was at the dashboard with my
monitor off, it doesnt seem to be stopping while i am at the network settings black screen but i have been up monitoring it for what feels like days.. because its been days.

 

I found out a few things that may help...

1. Do not attempt to use wifi to download the update, use a cable str8 from the router or modem

2. Do not leave the xb1 idle on dashboard leave it in network settings so the constant refreshing doesnt slow everything down

3. If you have a fan use it make sure thexb1 isnt overheating

4. Turn off all irrelevant functions that can use the net like game dvr and streaming

5. XB1 should be the only active divice connected to your net

My usage rate went from 1.2GB/Hour average to about 2.5GB/h and 2.78gbh tops which still sucks but its a lot better than before Hope this helps...
