Installation stopped message still appearing when trying to update Forza Horizon 4

I recently got an external media drive to download games onto on my first generation Xbox one, because I was getting the message "installation stopped" when trying to update Forza horizon 4 and I thought that the xbox's hard drive was broken.

I'm thinking that maybe there's some compatability problems with forza's latest update so I might have to get an Xbox one S or something like that.

Could anybody please help?

The external hard drive helps a lot, it's used because the game pass needs, haha
Try uninstalling the game and installing again.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

That method didn't work so should I do a factory reset from the Xbox's operating system?

I've had an update stuck like this for about a week. Keep cancelling it and trying to download it again.

I am using windows 11 and I am trying to install forza horizon 4 standard edition. The error message appears on all games I try to install. I have also tried every solution from that article for specially my error
