Installation Stopped Error

I got Batman Arkham Knight yesterday on release day. I bought a disc not a digital download. It always gets to about 5% or so and says "installation stopped". I have tried resetting my xbox, installing it offline, pretty much anything i've seen on the support
page to fix it. None of these have worked so far. It has gotten extremely frustrating as I have just been wanting to play this game for a long time and now that I have it, my xbox won't install it. Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: Now its gotten to 56% and is saying installation stopped. Any advice anybody can offer would be great as this is really starting to frustrate and irritate me.

Sorry to hear your having issues. I know you've tried a bunch of things here to fix you issue with downloading Batman Arkham Kight. I know of some solutions that should fix your issue. I'd like you to complete each one in order until your problem is
solved. I mean granted your okay with that hopefully you are hah. So just follow the steps I've listed and we should be all good.

1. Solution - Do you have enough hard drive space?
   1. From the home screen select the tile reading "My games & apps"
   2. Once the app opens you should see on the left a percentage bar (reads something like 60%) right below it is a number like 83.7GB Free.
      
   3. Make sure you have over at least 50GB for this game.
   4. If you don't have 50GB for this game it will not download on to your console. and you'll have to delete a game until you've freed 50 GB's. of space
      
2. Solution - Is your system upto date?
   1. Go to settings
   2. Select the tile reading "System"
   3. If there’s an update available, it will be listed at the bottom of the first column. Select the update and update your console If not, you'll see "No update available."
      
3. Solution - Reinstalling The game....
   1. From the home screen select the tile reading "My games & apps"
   2. Once the app has loaded. On the left side of the screen is a menu. Cycle through this menu untill you reach Queue.
      
   3. Hover over Batman Arkham Kight, press the menu button on the controller ( Its the one with the three lines)
      
   4. Select "Manage game"
   5. Select "Manage all"
   6. Select "Uninstall all"
   7. Find the game in the Xbox Store and begin downloading online. (Make sure your internet is good)
      
4. Solution - Clearing Mac address

1. Go to Settings on your console.
2. Select the "Network" tile.
3. Select the text reading " Advanced settings"
4. Select Alternate MAC address
5. Select clear.
6. repeat steps 4.a-e two more times. (for a total of three times)
7. Once done three times reset the console by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds then turn the console back on.
   
8. Once completed go back to "My games & apps" and try re downloading Batman Arkham Knight.
   

Please check Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage to make sure all core services are up and running. If they aren't you'll want to wait until they are. If you try downloading something
while xbox is experiencing server issues you will run into complications. Okay so I hope everything works out great if not give me a call at 1-800-4MY-XBOX (Ahh I'm just messing with you.) That is the xbox support number for the US. (Note I am a community

Try restart the console which can be done by going to power and start up, then selecting restart now.

and look at then other related issues etc, then post back here with your findings

He says he installed from a disk, but you keep mentioning downloading the game. I know I am late to the game but I have the same problem with the install stopping at 39%. I have tried it with and with out Internet and I have 130gb free. Any ideas?

 

if Voss doesn't help then it also best to delete and re-install your main profile do that and if it still persists then may i know if you are in the preview program running.
