Installation Stopped - Error: 0x87e0000f

Having huge issues downloading Lego Marvel Avengers. Just purchased but the installation always stops at 45%

Error code: 0x87e0000f

Have performed updated, power cycled XBox One, even removed my profile and re-installed. Every time I did these I removed the install and attempted to re-download and it stops again, same place, 45%.

Game was bought digitally so I cannot install offline.

Need help or refund.

I Have the same problem with my new Xbox One Halo 5 Edition and Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.

Exchanged the Game and the console, same problem.

The support doesnt know whats the reason neither what a solution could be.

Hello

No support article could be found related to that errorcode, however some users on the forums have run into the same code and managed to fix it using 2 different methods.

Method 1

1. Cancel all downloads

2. clear the console’s persistent storage, simply go to: Settings >> Disc and Blu-ray >> Clear Persistent Storage

3. go back to Settings>> then Network>> Advance settings>> Alternate MAC address>> Clear. This will restart your console.

4. Install game

Method 2

Changing your console's DNS

Scroll left from Home to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select Network.

Select Network settings.

On the Advanced Settings tab, select DNS Settings.

Select Manual in DNS Settings. It will take you to Primary DNS Server.

For Primary DNS, enter 8.8.8.8 , and then select Enter.

Select Secondary DNS Server.

Enter 8.8.4.4, and then select Enter.

Press the B button on your controller to save.

If the steps above didn't solve your issue, make sure you're trying to download it to the internal HDD. If persists and only with this game, you should contact Xbox support and request a refund, available when you're unable to install or play a game or content

Yeah i bought the game yesterday and i get stuck at 97.3% and it keeps saying installation stopped. Sometimes i do get the error code 0x87e0000f. However tried ALL of the troubleshooting for installation stopped stuff and for this error code to no avail.
i can install any other game, just having this problem with The Division 2.

I tried to do this but nothing.
The installation stops.
This message comes out: "The installation could not be completed at this time. (0x87e0000f)

Thanks for the reply.

I have just done everything you suggested and started to install Fortnite again, it was working for a little while and then stopped with this error code which i have also had several times now since owning the xbox.
