Installation stop Xbox series S

Does the installation show any error message or it just stops?

By Xbox S, do you mean the Xbox Series S?

And are these games Series S/X optimized games?

I am installing Modern Warfare 3 on the S series, and every time I try to install the game, this problem appears. The installation has stopped. I have tried and tried everything, but there is no result.

Just wanted to add this issue started for me mid February as of this year. It is now persistent and I cannot download any games as it will just repeat installation stopped.

I have also done all of the steps listed with no improvement.

Sorry to hear that. I was in exactly the same predicament as you. Tried everything and nothing worked. Sadly had to wait it out until Microsoft fixed it. There was no official statement for the cause either but it would appear to be Microsoft's problem, not yours. Unfortunately communication isn't great so I would suggest using the report a problem app on your console. Make as much noise as possible on the forums as well. Of course there is the slim possibility it is a console issue but if you are having the exact same problems as we did then that seems less likely. Good luck.
