    installation problems


    right this is a bit confusing and stupid but i don't know what to do, so i had all my games installed on my 1TB seagate expansion hard drive (discs and downloads) but the hard drive decided to stop working. i can re-install the games i downloaded but it
    wont let me re-install my disc games, the console isn't even recognising the discs as game discs!! PLEASE HELP!!!

    Installation Problems?

    I have had issues with my Xbox freezing after I finsih a Road to Superstar game on Madden 12 while it is installed on my hard drive. Not sure why though :/

    installation problems

    Sorry to hear it. Here are a few steps to try.

    1. Power cycle the console by holding the power button on it for ten seconds until it shuts down.

    2. Go to settings then disc and blu ray and make sure enable BD live is unchecked then clear persistent storage three times. Power cycle after that.

    3. When inserting the disc hold it for a second before letting go.

    If none of these work you may need to send it in for repair

    Im getting the same problem as well. Trying to install NBA 2k12 but it stays at the white circle. Other games I've installed on this system never gave me any trouble (last one I did was about two weeks ago).

    Truly this is the first time I've ever heard of this happening, especially when trying on multiple consoles. Have you tried using another disc (if possible)?
