Installation of xbox1 Apps and games stopping

Thanks for the update on the issue with installs. We recommend trying a
soft factory reset. There maybe corrupt files on the console stopping the install. You do not lose any save data if connected to the internet, as the saves are also saved on the cloud. So you shouldn't lose months of grinding.

Thankyou for reply . Ive wiped everything and removed external yet xbox says 56% of storage is used but no games or apps are installed ? Time ffor new xbox

Each time i reset/restart/ remove llocal saved games/make internal storage default etc upon startup the Dolby access App and Microft store App are automatically downloading and still stop installation at 99% time for new xbox and start from scratch ..
thats months of grinding down the drain, but hey thankyou for caring

Is there any chance that your external HDD might be failing?

Here is a link for the external storage troubleshoot , which you shouldnt need because your xbox is already picking up
the HDD.

You may need to plug the external into the PC to format there, and possibly check for disk errors

please try the following steps:

1. Stop (and remove) all active installations that have not finished or are failing

2. Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

3. Try to install a different game (demo) or app to see if that will finish

4. Try one of the previous installed games/apps

Also try to install the to internal storage device to see if that works
