Installation of game update keeps stopping on series x

I have a xbox series x and at the moment the only game I have been updating is call of duty. Every time a new update comes out it seems every 30min to an hour the installation of the update stops at random and wont resume unless I’m sitting at my xbox and touch a button. This issue continues until the update is complete. Does anyone know if theres a fix to this? Much appreciated.
