Installation Issue: Rayland 2 (Xbox & PC) cannot be installed on PC?

Hello,

To anyone that can please provide some information, I purchased the game:
Rayland 2 (Xbox & PC)

My issue is that when launching the Xbox app on PC, under My Library, Rayland 2 does not show up as an owned/installable title.

This is the game's product page:

It does indeed say I own the game via Xbox's website. The game's page does say under "Playable on" that PC is listed. I have plenty of other games that I have installed on my PC via the Xbox app that work just fine. This is the first time I have ever encountered this kind of issue.
(I am on a Windows 11 PC)

Any information on this issue please?

Both the PC version and the Xbox version are packaged together. You have to look it up in the Windows store and the PC version is in the DLC section.

It because you have to buy the pc version not the xbox version

It is just a general listing for pc and xbox version

Those other titles would be play anywhere titles where you can install on either platform

This title us NOT a play anywhere title you must buy the different versions seperately .

If you want to buy the pc version you must buy it from the ms store or the xbox app on pc NOT your series x

Seems like Gears 5 needs to be installed using the Xbox PC Beta App. Please check if your Windows 10 is version 1903 or not. If it is an earlier build the Xbox App does not seem to install. i have this problem with my Surface Book 2 which cannot update to
1903 due to an issue with that build and the surface line. This means i cannot install the Xbox PC app, and as a result i cannot install Gears 5.

The store on a regular computer links to your Xbox App on PC which shoudl allow you to install it.

Same Issue. The xbox app stopped installing updates and does not check updates automatically. What is even more annoying is the Microsoft store app can install updates but it cannot check for them. What is wrong xbox platform on pc?

Hello.

The current Xbox Console Companion on Windows advertises the "new Xbox App for Windows 10 PC". I have downloaded the installer via the link, and run it, however it does not install. It just shows the progress bar and "Making things awesome...", but nothing
happens. I have re-downloaded the installer, and trusted it on my Firewall but I cannot get anything to happen.

Has anyone else had this issue?

To install the app, you first need to uninstall the beta xbox app from your pc and then run the installer.
